Executive Chairperson

The Chairperson is a voluntary position and is the principle leader of West Auckland AFC (WAFC) and has overall responsibility for WAFC administration, policy and management. The Chairperson sets the overall annual committee agenda (consistent with the views of members), helps the committee prioritize its goals and then keeps the committee on track by working within that overall framework. At the operational level, the major function of the President/Chairperson is to facilitate effective committee meetings.

Vice Chairperson

The Vice Chairperson is a voluntary position that supports the Chairperson with the administration, policy and management of the club. The Vice Chairperson also takes on the responsibilities and duties of the Chairperson in their absence.

Football Chairperson

Club Captain

This is a voluntary role held by a senior member of West Auckland AFC (WAAFC). You must be a positive role model for all members of the club in all of the men’s and woman’s sections, both senior and junior. Being a person who is an integral part of the club, and who is well known by many members of the club is also important. The Club Captain is a club official who at times will be required to help deal with various situations and is required to be a good ambassador to the club.
