Hi All
Well, the season is almost at an end, and we wish all teams well in their remaining matches. The club has several teams vying for championship places again and one in a cup final.Thank you to those who have supported the club this year through their attendance at club functions, helping at the shop/bar and the BBQ and just being around the place to help.
Several dates for you to remember and put in your diaries are as follows:
6th/7th Sept Last competition games for all teams
12th Sept Ist team men’s catch up last game – 7pm at Ellerslie 13th Sept Men’s cup finals to be held at -Mangere Centre Park Robertson Rd time tba GO THE ORIGINALS
20th Sept JUNIOR PRIZEGIVINGS to be held over the day at the clubrooms
- U7/8th grades 12pm
- U9/10/11/12 mixed grades 2pm
- GirlsU12 and u13 /u13 /14/15 boys 4pm
- More details to follow with your team Co Ordinator’s
27th Sept SENIOR PRIZEGIVING Cost $40 includes dinner and music
Venue Suburbs Rugby club Portage rd. Start 7pm
Theme- BLACK TIE put your glad rags on and come celebrate
TROPHY NOMINATIONS
It’s trophy time and as usual we are still chasing a few trophies to be returned. Please bring these back ASAP so they can go to the next recipient. If you have someone that you would like to nominate for a club trophy, please feel free to contact Debbie (Debbie.McLarin@westaucklandafc.co.nz)
IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID YOUR FEES, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A TROPHY SO MAKE SURE THAT THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Check with the office if you are not sure
SUMMER FOOTBALL/ FUTSAL starts soon
This year we are trialing a women’s only league on Wednesday nights and Juniors on a Monday if there is interest, as well as our mixed league on Friday nights.Contact Mike Drewett for further details 0275506749
